[Poka-Yoke Example] Prevention of forgetting to crimp automotive interior and exterior parts.

When interior and exterior parts are pressed for a certain period, a wireless signal is transmitted! It enables personnel management for the pressing operation.

This is an introduction to a case study of tool development aimed at preventing work omissions (Poka-Yoke) through IoT using industry-leading electric tools. We received a request from an automobile manufacturer that uses a jig (tape bonding jig) from 3M Japan Co., Ltd. to bond interior and exterior parts of vehicles with tape, expressing the desire to implement a Poka-Yoke system to prevent forgetting to bond the interior and exterior parts of the vehicle. We have successfully realized this request. 【Details】 - The tape bonding jig is equipped with our wireless module for Poka-Yoke tools. - A Poka-Yoke system has been established to prevent forgetting to bond the interior and exterior parts of the vehicle. - When the interior and exterior parts are bonded for a certain period using the tape bonding jig from 3M Japan Co., Ltd., a wireless signal is transmitted, and by receiving it with our Poka-Yoke receiver, it enables management of the bonding work count. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
